Boots is a character on Go, Diego, Go! and the deuteragonist/co-host of Dora the Explorer. He is a five-and-a-half year old furry monkey and Dora's best friend.
Unlike Dora, Boots sometimes makes wrong choices and gets discouraged. When he is feeling down, he always bounces back quickly with one of his flips. No one can make Dora laugh the way Boots can.

Boots is a bluish-grayish monkey with a pink face, hands, and ears. He has a yellow stomach and a yellow tail. And he wears a pair of big red boots.
Family[]
Boots parents' names are unknown. He is also shown to have two twin sisters in Dora's Pirate Adventure.

Boots appears in every episode of Dora the Explorer, with the exception of Kittens in Mittens, Dora & Sparky's Riding Adventure, and Let's Go to Music School.
He only appears in one episode of Go, Diego, Go! which is Linda the Llama Saves Carnival. He also made a photographic cameo in Journey to Jaguar Mountain.
